Sigmund Freud and psychoanalysis in the light of socionics
Based on biographical data, memoirs and documents, an analysis of the psychological portrait of the founder of psychoanalysis, Sigmund Freud, is carried out. It is shown that his socionic type is the ethical-sensory introvert (ESI). It is discussed what psychoanalysis and its practice would be if it were created by a person of a different type. The status of psychoanalysis and aspects of experimental confirmation of its provisions in modern science are considered.

Classical orbital tetrachotomies and verbalized dichotomies of the socion
This article continues the investigations of tetrachotomies that divide the socion into subsets of four types that are “homogeneous” in terms of the classical intertype relations. The use of central section bipolar traits to organize and name tetrachotomies is considered, as are tetrachotomies that are generated by first dividing the socion by one bipolar trait, and then dividing each half by two different bipolar traits. After comparing our results with the work of other authors, we agree on proper terminology.
